From festive favourites like Summer Santa to local BBQs, markets, and school fundraisers, our community events are all about connection, celebration, and giving back. Proudly hosted by the Cabarita Beach Pottsville Beach Lions Club, these events create opportunities for locals and visitors to come together, share good times, and support great causes.

Community Christmas Party
Fun, Music, Entertainment, Food, Raffles, Santa and Firework , all at your Party. Come and join us out the front of Caba Pub and Surf club. Watch our Website or Facebook for the date.
Lions Support the Tweed Enduro
In February, the Lions Club Cabarita Beach Pottsville Beach supported the annual Tweed Enduro in Pottsville, serving up a sausage sizzle, veggie burgers, and lunches for 80 staff and volunteers. All funds raised help support vital community projects.
Raffles During The Party
Our raffles have, over the past few years, raised thousands of dollars for local organisations, while bringing joy to many families who have won one of our three lovely hampers filled with goods and vouchers, or our bonus prize.
Australia Day Community Awards and BBQ
We have been holding our Awards ceremony for many years, with two Community Awards, the occasional Special Award and School Awards to our 3 local primary schools. Plus our free BBQ - see our events page for more.
'Hands on Heart' CPR Project
Free basic courses dedicated to improving survival rates for individuals experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. Locals helping locals to improve Cardiac Arrest and Heart Attack outcomes in our communities.
Assisting Local Events
Our Club of course (like many Lions Clubs) is known for our BBQ's, and we love to assist our Community wherever we can with our "Specialty". But, we are not just that, we do much more.

The entire Community Christmas Party is funded by donations and fundraising efforts, reflecting the spirit of giving and togetherness that defines our region.
